It's Chanel again! My favourite makeup brand at this moment is definitely Chanel!

I received this EDM recently - it's a new limited Fleur de Lotus. Among all these items, my pick is the Aqualumiere Gloss 81 Roselin.  Look at this pink colour!

I haven't been to the shop recently so I don't know if they are available in Hong Kong. Argh...that's very tempting...

my first myluxbox

the power of public relations - i read an article in iMoney which tempted me to give it a try!

definitely good news for the ladies - now we do not have to make purchases without trying a product (i am not talking about TESTING the product at the counter). you can opt for paying a small sum of money to get 4-6 samples of cosmetics and skincare products which are picked by the vendor. the size of the samples is good enough for you to use for a few times.

it's not something brand new and apart from myluxbox, where i got my "first box", there are some other vendors offering similar experience to customers and one of them is glamabox, which is founded by Lisa S. both vendors charge HK$108 per box, with some discounts if you commit for a few months or more.

the workflow is pretty straight forward - you first have to register at the website, fill in personal particulars and also skincare profile, pay for paypal, then the box will be sent to your address.

the first box that i had was for May which has 6 products in total, you can find the details here.

the box also comes with a card with details of the products in the box, and also the prices of the "real" products.

i am getting another box from myluxbox for June, and i am considering to get one from glamabox for july, so i can make comparison.

one point to note is that myluxbox has extended the offerings to men and mum & baby.

ettusais x beauty blogger美肌教室

星期日早上趕工到五時才去睡覺，然後八時半起床梳洗出發到銅鑼灣出席由ettusais舉辦的ettusais x beauty blogger美肌教室。上床時，我真的怕自己起不了床。

今次活動中介紹的產品包括duo pact duo 2 in 1 粉底 ($250) 和aqua splash M ($110)。


duo pact duo 2 in 1 粉底 適合任何膚質的人使用，用的是近年很流行的雙色粉底設計：上截淺色部份是控油護膚粉末，含有真空吸油粉末，一方面可以塗在 T-zone 、下巴這些容易出油的地方，趕走油光滿面，也可以塗在鼻翼等膚色暗沉的地方作 highlight之用；深色部份是則用作遮瑕及保濕。非常重要的是這個產品可以阻隔紫外線指數達SPF 16 及PA++。

因為我屬敏感皮膚，怕粉餅太乾燥，所以少用粉餅的。這個星期我天天要「見人」，不敢冒險，所以我未有開始使用這個產品，之後有機會再和大家分享用後感。


粉盒 ($80) 的設計是今季大熱的喱士設計，配上粉紅色，與平常我們見到黑白配很不同！


粉紅色樽噴霧aqua splash M 和粉藍色樽的零油光保濕噴霧可是孿生兒！aqua splash M復活草保濕噴霧是今季新品，含有復活草強效保濕精華、100%精煉水及鎂質和鈣質粉末，不含香料和色素，屬弱酸性和防暗瘡配方，而且經過過敏性測試。與夏天出品、粉藍色樽的零油光保濕噴霧比較，aqua splash M 針對保濕方面的問題，適合秋冬季使用。


當日品牌還安排了日本的化妝大師Kayuzuki Ogawa為出席的bloggers作化妝示範。Ogawa先生曾為多本日本雜誌如non-no和JJ的模特兒化妝。Ogawa先生還是髮型師，所以他還為當日擔任模特兒的blogger整理頭髮呢！


Ogawa先生指出，今季流行自然的妝容，尤其著重眼唇的透明感。由於冬季尤其多節日，所以帶閃的妝容也是十分合適的。

首先，Ogawa先生使用DUO pact，因為秋冬季較為乾燥，要多加保濕，而且香港女生的膚質大多都是混合性，所以DUO pact是十分合適的。Ogawa先生先用淺色的部份塗在t-zone 、下巴和眼底的位置，帶出妝容的立體感。


眼妝方面，模特兒選擇了大地色的eye shadow palatte。Ogawa先生表示即使是大地色，也要帶出閃礫的感覺。 我自己則十分喜歡另外一個粉紅粉紫色的eye shadow palatte。

最後Ogawa先生還為bloggers逐一以粉底和噴霧補妝，還有解答大家在化妝時遇到的問題。

順帶一提，當天擔任翻譯的小姐十分標緻可人，我也忍不住經常看著她！

Giorgio Armani Crystal Cllection 2009 - Art Deco Palette

十一月的某天去giorgio amarni買make up base的時候，試用了這個art deco palette，眼影顏色包括patina ice brown、patina silver metal、patina ice green和pearly black，上層有一個粉餅。試妝後心癢癢，因為眾所周知，綠色的眼影很難處理，但是這個綠色十分柔和，可惜沒有budget，唯有作罷。十二月中陪朋友再去的時候，已經賣光了。

Anna Sui Eye Shadow Palatte

近日我在努力地丟東西，化妝品是主要目標之一，尤其是那些已經用了好一些日子的。

其中一個犧牲品，就是這盒某年冬季的anna sui eye shadow palatte。好像買了這盒palatte之後，我就沒有再買單色眼影，一是因為更合乎經濟原則，一是因為這樣更為方便。

這盒palatte的眼影非常顯色，由於我眼油問題嚴重，用甚麼眼影都會出現crease的問題，所以就不在我的評價範圍內了。

通常eye shadow palatte只可以配襯出一個妝容，你自己配配看，這盒至少可以有三個組合，而且濃妝淡妝皆宜，丟的時候很捨不得。

Face:
Apply fluid master primer to smooth skin texture and refine pores.
Apply light master primer to boost the radiance of the skin and highlight the contours of the face. Apply high precision retouch to conceals imperfections and blurs dark circlesApply designer shaping cream foundation SPF 20, mixed with fluid sheer #6
Apply micro-fil loose powder #3 (which was sold out ages ago, see below) to give the complexion a glowing, velvety finish.
Blend Blending Blush Duo #3 along the cheek bones to sculpt the face with a veil of color.

Eyes:
Use eye pencil #12 as eye liner on upper eyelids
Apply light lilac shade of pink light eye palette (see below) to outer corners of eyes.
Blend and apply silver gray shade and peach pink shade across the eyelids.
Apply pale beige shade on browbone as highlight
Finish with a sweep of maestro mascara to open up the eyes.

Lips:
Apply lip wax#2 to add a veil of color to the lip.

顧得了拍照，就顧不了抄筆記。

先塗眼影。

再貼上假眼睫毛及畫眼線。我認為春妝而言，是有點誇張。

然後塗上胭脂。

另外前美國白宮皮膚顧問陳世松教授講解有關乳癌的資訊。但由皮膚科專家來說乳癌，我認為沒有甚麼說服力。

Jill Stuart Illuminance Eyes

Jill Stuart 去年年底來港，一眾女子把尖沙咀的專櫃塞得水洩不通。明明逛街是人生一大樂事，為甚麼要去迫呢？

我就沒有去迫，也沒有花一份錢就把這個Illuminance Eyes 的02色 Fantastic Light拿到手，因為是公司聖誕節的抽獎禮物，價值$370，還有秘書小姐排隊的時間。

我的懶人用法就是把右一的啡色塗滿眼瞼，然後隨意從另外三色挑一種，塗到眼角位置就好了，閃閃的，不太誇張。顯色是一流的，不用打底也絕無問題！ Illuminance Eyes共六色。

Laura Mercier Eye Design & First Blush Collection

一月的時候收到美國Laura Mercier的宣傳電郵：

價錢為$1,400。這套裝最吸引我的是那些掃子，但最近我是苦行憎，不想花$1,400，所以作罷。香港的「食水」很深，價錢比美國高44%！

First Blush Face Palatte

集眼影、胭脂及唇彩於一身，價錢為$450，合理。就算我本人不喜歡用唇彩，就當是買眼影及胭脂都值得。

唇膏與化妝

有天開會，老闆與客人說起唇膏效應(lipstick effect)，客人拋下了一句：「塗唇膏是表示妳對一個約會的尊重」。她是一位五十多歲的女子，從商，她說她步出社會工作時，別人就是這樣教她。

我以前不太塗唇膏，因為覺得經常塗塗補補有點煩，而且也不想沾污杯邊和餐巾。直至近半年，覺得有時覺得面色不好，又或者與客人有會議的時候，就會塗一點。

對上一支唇膏，應該是三年前買的Maquillage。這支Clinique High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15，是去年十一月買的，因為它可以防uva和uvb，顏色我挑了honey blush。塗之前用Neutrogena 6-hour protection lip moisturizer打底，完全沒有脫皮的問題。價錢合理，都是一百多。

Bobbi Brown - Valentine's Charm

Bobbi Brown did not charge for the last 20-min smokey eyes consultation...

You see the demonstrations on the right bottom. I don't quite like them. And for that eye palatte, I haven't had a look at the real product yet. I remember it costs around $600, which seems to be a good bargain (if the quality is good).

Nevertheless eye shadow lasts for a year only. Can one probably use this up in 12 months? I can't.

鳴謝友人許小姐借出玉照，陪我一齊癲。

許小姐為了化一個應節的眼妝，特意於萬聖節當日買下此eye shadow palatte，效果一點都不「萬聖」，用來上班絕無問題，是平價開架精選。

但關於產品的資料、價錢和質素，我一無所知，只可等許小姐病癒後自行演譯。
